About

Hello everyone,

Let me introduce myself.

I am a telecom engineer from India. Currently, I am working in an IMS product development company where we are  developing the IMS core network nodes. I have started this blog to collaborate with other developers and system engineers working in this domain.

As I go along, I will be posting some technical articles regarding this technology, IMS deployment plans by operators, profiling of other companies working in the IMS domain and anything interesting that catches my eye ! Along with IMS, I will be talking about SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) which is used for enabling session setup and teardown in IMS and DIAMETER (for AAA) protocols.

Apart from this usual stuff, I will also be keeping an eye on the standardization process being carried out by 3GPP (3rd Generation Partnership Project) and keep the readers posted about any interesting developments on this front.

Welcome to the IMS jungle…enjoy your stay…and don’t shy away from dropping a few comments!

Regards

The IMS Junglee guy ! ;)
